Building Industry Relationships
Strong employer partnerships don’t require an existing network to get started. This session will help faculty and program leaders identify the right industry contacts, initiate low-pressure conversations, and ask meaningful questions about AI, automation, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data, and other emerging IT skills.
Participants will learn practical strategies for building relationships with employers, gathering valuable workforce insights, and using industry input to inform program decisions. The session will also explore how to turn an initial conversation into ongoing engagement without creating the expectation of a formal commitment.
