Join ITIN, NITIC’s Information Technology Innovation Network

The NITIC Information Technology Innovation Network (ITIN) is designed to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and professional growth among our members. Through a supportive and interactive platform, ITIN will facilitate the exchange of best practices, innovative teaching strategies, and resources, with a special emphasis on enhancing the quality of IT education through diversity, equity, and inclusion.

By leveraging the collective expertise of our members, we strive to stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and pedagogical approaches, ultimately empowering educators to inspire and prepare the next generation of IT professionals.

ITIN MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS

ITIN Membership is FREE.

To be eligible for membership, institutions of higher education must hold regional accreditation from one of the accrediting agencies recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the U.S. Department of Education.

The primary contact for membership must be a faculty or staff member in the IT department or an administrator from the applying institution. This individual must obtain authorization from a dean or another high-level administrator to join on behalf of the institution. Once the institution’s membership application is approved and the institution becomes an ITIN member, individual personnel can register and take part in network events.

Mini-Grant Program

NITIC is continually looking for ways to support expanding technician-level curriculum in emerging job clusters. ITIN members can apply for support through the NITIC Mini-Grant Program. The NITIC Mini-Grant Program offers one-time grants of up to $10,000 to support the cultivation and development of new initiatives in emerging IT fields.
