Containers: How businesses are using them, what our students need to know, and how one school teaches key skills

Join us for a session exploring the use of containers in cybersecurity. We’ll start with Vieri Tenuta, who will discuss the general application of containers in the cybersecurity field and how companies leverage them for various purposes. He’ll also share a specific use case from a company he works with that utilizes containers to simulate cyber attacks, with a focus on the infrastructure aspects of container use.

Next, Juan Medina, an adjunct professor, will share the tools and materials he uses to teach containers. He will address common challenges, such as the importance of Linux knowledge for working with containers and provide demos showcasing their practical use. Juan will also demonstrate how he builds his classes, offering insights into effective teaching methods for container technology.
