Microsoft PowerApps Fundamentals

Learn to build business applications without extensive coding in this hands-on introduction to Microsoft PowerApps. Designed specifically for community college IT educators, this 50-minute workshop guides you through creating a functional IT Help Desk ticket tracking system using PowerApps’ low-code platform. You’ll explore data connections, user interface design, filtering and search functionality, and mobile deployment while discovering how to integrate PowerApps into database, web development, and business applications courses. Leave with a working app, curriculum integration strategies, and curated Microsoft Learn resources to support student projects. No prior PowerApps experience required; basic familiarity with Microsoft 365 helpful.
