Ensuring Engaged Employer Relationships Nationally or Regionally

This session will focused on how the Business & Industry Leadership Team (BILT) model is being implemented nationally for the National Science Foundation National Information Technology Innovation Center (NITIC) based at Columbus State Community College. Participants learned about the BILT model in general, how NITIC is implementing BILT on a national level, and what individual colleges need to do to effectively apply the results of NITIC’s national work to their own college programs. Additionally, the session covered modifications needed to use the model on a regional basis. Finally, participants will learn about free resources and services available through NITIC.
